HorseBytes reports analyse the pedigree and family information in a sale catalogue, together with published pedigree data, to suggest the trip a horse's family points to and the class of its family. They are a guide to pedigree aptitude only. They are not a prediction of ability, soundness, temperament or value, and they are not a substitute for inspecting the horse, veterinary advice, or professional bloodstock advice.
Decisions to buy, sell or train a horse are yours. We take care to make our reports accurate, but they rely on catalogue and third-party pedigree information we don't control, which can contain errors or go out of date. To the extent the law allows, HorseBytes is not liable for losses arising from decisions made using our reports or this website, and our total liability for any report is limited to the amount, if any, paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
